Commissioning a New Work
Usman welcomes commissions from performers, ensembles, festivals, and cultural institutions interested in new music for piano and chamber ensembles. His compositions often draw on modal musical languages alongside classical forms, creating works that combine melodic colour, rhythmic vitality, and structural clarity. Each commission is developed collaboratively with the performer or organisation, ensuring the music is both artistically meaningful and practical for performance.
